Structured Support Programs

Our Services

The Youth Progress Services program provides comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health and behavioral stabilization services designed to support the safety, growth, and well-being of boys ages 7–12 in a structured residential setting.

Therapeutic Residential Care

  • 24-hour supervision in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed therapeutic environment
  • Consistent routines that promote emotional stability, predictability, and positive behavior

Individualized Treatment Planning

  • Development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans
  • Treatment goals tailored to each child’s emotional, behavioral, developmental, and clinical needs
  • Collaboration with caregivers, caseworkers, and community providers

Mental Health & Behavioral Skill Development

  • Daily Therapeutic Programming Focused on:
    • Emotional Regulation
    • Social and Interpersonal Skills
    • Coping Strategies
    • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills
  • Evidence-informed, strength-based behavioral interventions

Therapeutic Services & Skill-Building

  • Individual, group, and family skill-building sessions facilitated by trained staff
  • Support for improving communication, conflict resolution, and peer relationships
  • Family engagement to promote continuity of care and successful transitions

Crisis Intervention & Stabilization

  • Immediate crisis intervention and de-escalation support
  • Structured stabilization services to ensure safety during emotional or behavioral crises
  • Use of approved, least-restrictive intervention strategies in accordance with Michigan regulations

Educational Support

  • Coordination with the child’s local school district or educational service provider
  • Advocacy and support to promote academic engagement and success
  • Structured homework support and educational enrichment as appropriate

Recreational & Life Skills Programming

  • Developmentally appropriate recreational, life-skills, and enrichment activities
  • Opportunities to build self-confidence, teamwork, and healthy leisure skills
  • Activities designed to support physical health, creativity, and positive social interaction
